"We like to joke about how we have all been individually and collectively accused of trying to destroy the church...because that is not what we are trying to do. And yet there is this tiny little kernel of truth in there, because if you define church as a theological instituion given life through the concepts and the practices we talked about as fundamentally enabling of s*xual violence, then yes, actually, we are trying to dismantle that."
